Full Moon in Aries: Ignite Your Inner Fire & Embrace Emotional Flow
An intense and firy one!
Practices for Full Moon...
Finding your centre when emotions run high
Full Moon in Aries!
As the Full Moon in Aries rises, emotions surge like the tides—and it’s no surprise! Living in Ibiza, an island deeply connected to the moon’s rhythms, we feel these cosmic moments more intensely than most places. Even those not interested in astrology say, “Wow, I feel this one!”
This moon calls for reflection, release, and realignment. Let’s dive into practices that help you reclaim your power during this fiery lunar phase.
Living in the UK years ago I never felt particularly connected to the cycles of the moon, nor my own internal cycles…Perhaps due to the persistent drizzle and rain that usually pervaded the valley I grew up in, In Lancashire….Yet also due to anything connecting to cycles/the moon/ was thought of as ‘witchy’ and so so ‘woo woo b/s’.
All of course stemming years from the patriarchy that divided my own upbringing, and still living in the wake of the burning of the witches hundreds of years ago, which still for many means anything non scientific was met with judgement and an eye roll.
Full Moons reflections...
The moon of course controls the tides, the rise and fall of water on the planet. Water is deeply connected with our emotions, and given we are 80% water it’s not surprising we can feel a lot during full moons!
Sometimes full of energy, sometimes teary it’s all in there!
Full Moons are a time of looking at what is in FULL ILLUMINATION. For you, and of course in the wider reality.
It’s a time to release, let go, declare what you need to realise and release this cycle.
For me this full moon in Aries is really showing me where I’ve been giving my personal power to particularly toxic, disempowering relationships with the masculine. A time of re-learning, and re-empowering that no one can take away our centre of personal power unless we allow them.
Aries is much the individual, the warrior, connected to our solar plexus and inner fire. And learning when to declare ‘enough is enough’ saying do one to those who are not supporting our uprising. As women, as communities too.
Full Moon Practices: Reconnect with Your Inner Warrior
Here are powerful practices to help you stay centered and grounded when emotions rise:
-
Find Stillness and Breathe:
Sit quietly by a body of water or in a calm space. Take deep breaths to return to your center. -
Journal Prompts to Reflect and Release:
- What one thing can I do today to step into my leadership role?
- Where is fear causing me to stay inactive?
- What needs to melt away for my inner warrior to emerge?
- Which area of my life—business or personal—needs bold action right now?
- What aspect of my shadow is active? How can I embrace and work with it?
- What do I need to release, and how will I know it’s gone?
-
Create a Ritual for Release:
- By Water: Go to a river, ocean, or lake. Speak aloud the things you’re ready to release:
“Today, I release… I let go of…” - Burning Ritual: Write down disempowering thoughts or patterns. Safely burn the paper, symbolizing release and reclaiming your personal power.
- By Water: Go to a river, ocean, or lake. Speak aloud the things you’re ready to release:
